About Glass Over Teakettle
We are Monica & Candace Collier, the owners and artists at Glass Over Teakettle. In early 2021, we decided to turn our stained glass hobby into a business and share our passion for this incredible art with people all over the world. We love challenging the "norms" of this ancient art form to move stained glass away from "church windows" and into modern home décor. Originality is everything, so we always hand-draw our own patterns and we cut every piece of glass by hand, ensuring that all of our art is one-of-a-kind. Sustainability is also important - we are zero-waste when it comes to glass. Instead of going to the landfill, all our glass scraps get saved - and we use them to create special ornaments whose proceeds we donate to different charities throughout the year.
When we're not creating stained glass, you can find us exploring art galleries, frequenting the beach, cooking vegan meals made with produce from our garden, or hanging out with our two awesome cats.
